Parapet Roof Drain

Parapet roof drain is used at the junction of the roof and the parapet for conveying rainwater from roof area through the parapet. This type of drains is used as secondary drain (emergency). One parapet drain should be provided for each roof primary drain. The secondary drainage system shall handle any overflow that occurs when the primary drain is clogged or the rainfall is more than the expected value used in designing the roof drainage system. In some cases and because of the roof layout, this type of roof drains can be used as primary drains. Our drains consist of a cast iron body with different outlet sizes, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) and an Aluminum or Nickel Bronze grate.

General Purpose - Small Sump

Used in flat roofs of any construction. Small diameter body is particularly adaptable where limited space is available and low capacity drainage requirements (Analyze the flow rate of this type by using the design calculator). Our drains consist of three basic parts: a cast iron body with different outlet sizes and joining types, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) and a Cast Iron, Aluminum, or Nickel Bronze dome strainer. This type of drains is used as primary drain. Optional features and accessories are available to fit different applications.

Promenade or Deck Roof Drain

Used in flat roofs and decks designed as parking decks (vehicles traffic) or promenades for recreational (foot traffic). Our drains consist of different sizes body with different outlet sizes and joining types, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) with seepage openings, and a flat grate.

Roof Drains with Over Flow

Used in flat roofs of any construction as a Secondary Drain (emergency overflow) or where a constant height of water is required. The secondary drainage system shall handle any overflow that occurs when the primary drain is clogged or the rainfall is more than the expected value used in designing the roof drainage system. One drain should be used near to each roof primary drain.

General Purpose - Large Sump

Used in flat roofs of any construction. Large sump body is used when high capacity is required (Analyze the flow rate of this type by using the design calculator). Our drains consist of three basic parts: a cast iron body with different outlet sizes and joining types, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) and a Cast Iron or Nickel Bronze dome strainer. This type of drains is used as primary drain. Optional features and accessories are available to fit different applications.

General Purpose - Deep Sump

Used in flat roofs of any construction. Deep sump body is used when medium capacity is required (Analyse the flow rate of this type by using the design calculator).

Gutter or Cornice Roof Drains

Used in gutters, cornices, and any overhanging construction to prevent overflow to areas below. Our drains consist of a cast iron body with different outlet options, a Nickel bronze clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane or the cornice flashing with the body), and a dome or grate Nickel Bronze strainer.

Accessories

Some different items that are necessary for the roof installation. Vent cap, Expansion joints, Vent stack flashing sleeve, and more.

Deck Receptor

Used on roof areas to receive wastewater from air conditioning units, cooling towers and other mechanical equipment installed on the roof.

Finished Area - General Purpose

General Service floor drain for use in showers, toilets, kitchens, and other finished areas where foot traffic is expected. Our drains consist of a cast iron body with different outlet sizes and joining types, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) and nickel bronze or stainless steel adjustable strainer. The strainer is secured over the body to prevent injury, entry of foreign objects, or introduction of unwanted pests into the facility. The material and finishing of our strainers make the surfaces so smooth, preventing hair and other objects to get stuck in it and clog the drain. We have many types of strainer: Round, square, rectangular, dome, or hinged strainer.

Finished Area - Multi Inlet Floor Drain

Multi Inlet floor drain with internal trap seal and auxiliary inlets for use in showers, kitchens and other finished areas where multiple drainage pipes are used in small area and where foot traffic is expected. Our drains consist of a cast iron body, a collar (to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body), PVC cleanout plug, and nickel bronze or stainless steel adjustable strainer. The body has integral trap, three auxiliary inlets, and no hub outlet with different sizes. The strainer is secured over the body to prevent injury, entry of foreign objects, or introduction of unwanted pests into the facility. The material and finishing of our strainers make the surfaces so smooth, preventing hair and other objects to get stuck in it and clog the drain. We have many types of strainer: Round, square, or hinged strainer.

Parking and Area Drains

Area drain (called Storm drain) is a receptor designed to receive and convey run-off water or other liquid from the areas subjected to rainfall and immediately adjacent to the building structure, and discharge it into the drainage system. Our area drains consists of cast iron body and grate. The grate is designed to endure heavy loads, and sometimes it’s manufactured in Ductile Iron material. We can produce the grate in many shapes (Decorative shapes) to fit with the architect designs. FloDrain has many types, shapes, and sizes of area drains, including many features such as: Clamping device (For Water proofing system), adjustable top, sediment bucket, and secondary strainer.

Indirect Waste Drain

Indirect waste drain is used to receive waste water from indirect waste lines.

Finished Area – Trap Drains

General Service floor drain for use in showers, toilets, kitchens, and other finished areas where foot traffic is expected and preventing sewer gases from entering the facility is required. Our drains consist of a cast iron body with integral trap, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) and nickel bronze or stainless steel adjustable strainer and optional adjustable floor cleanout. The strainer is secured over the body to prevent injury, entry of foreign objects, or introduction of unwanted pests into the facility. The material and finishing of our strainers make the surfaces so smooth, preventing hair and other objects to get stuck in it and clog the drain.

Finished Area - Shallow Body

General Service floor drain for use in showers, toilets, kitchens, and other finished areas where foot traffic is expected and floor construction requires shallow drain body. Our drains consist of a cast iron body with side outlet, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) and nickel bronze or stainless steel adjustable strainer.

Planting Drains

Ideally suited for indoor atrium areas, outdoor roof top promenade deck areas, and ground level planting areas where excess water must be drained. Our Planting drains consist of cast iron body with different sump sizes, different outlet sizes and joining types, a clamp (clamping device used to fix the waterproofing membrane with the body) and different tops. Some of the top has solid dome cap and others have mesh dome.

Strainers

General Service floor drain for use in showers, toilets, kitchens, and other finished areas where foot traffic is expected. The square top is particularly adaptable to floors that are finished in material of square or straight line pattern.
